Bristol Clay Shooting will once again be setting and running the clay course
With a change to previous years the competitions will be run over 2 Sportrap layouts (25 clays each)

About Sportrap
Sportrap (STR) is essentially a miniaturised English Sporting (ESP) course, the name a combination of ‘sporting’ and ‘trap’.
It is shot from five stands spaced a few feet apart in a line similar to trap disciplines, but with shooting cages like English Sporting. Five traps are placed on the layout which throw ESP-style targets, and are labelled A to E. Like Trap, shooting goes from left to right.
Each stand has a menu telling the shooter what targets they will be shooting at. First, each shooter shoots a single target, then each gets an on-report pair, and finally each gets a simultaneous pair. Once the final pair is shot, each shooter moves one stand right (stand 5 moves to 1) and the sequence is repeated.

For those who have never tried clay shooting before there will be a chance to try it under instruction, with expert tuition and all equipment provided.

SHOOTERS WILL BE SHOWN THE TARGETS BEFORE THEY START SHOOTING
Bristol Clay Shooting WILL NOT TOLERATE anti-social behaviour and or bad language, towards their staff.
LAST ENTRY is 4pmIn the event of a SHOOT OFF (in any competition/category) Competitors MUST be available at approx 4pm each day.
Daily competition PRIZE GIVING will take place at approx 5pm each day.
If prize winners ARE NOT in attendance, they forfeit their prize.
